Natural Resource Management and the Politics of Sustainable Place Making Workshop

Last Week Professor Susan Baker, a co-director here in the Sustainable Places Research Institute, invited Swedish researchers for Lulea University to Sustainable Places in Cardiff University for a 2 day workshop entitled "Natural Resource Management and the Politics of Sustainable Place Making."
Researchers from the Political Science Unit at Lulea University attended to discuss the governance of natural resources, using Swedish and Welsh case studies as well as look in to the possibility of Finnish collaboration.
The objective of the workshop was to develop a common research framework in relation to the politics of sustainable place making and decide on responsibilities for the production of a new publication.
