International recognition for University staff achievements and capital developments to help tackle some of the most important research issues has been reported to University Court by Vice-Chancellor Dr David Grant.
The Court of the University receives the Annual Review and Financial Statements of the University at its annual meeting in March. The meeting this year was the first chaired by new University President Professor Sir Martin Evans.
Amongst the achievements reported to Court by Dr Grant were:
Dr Grant said: "I am sure you will share the enormous pride the University takes in all these achievements. Each represents a significant step towards our vision of being a world-leading University."
"The past twelve months have been rich in achievements for the University. I would like to thank everyone – staff, students and supporters - who has contributed to these considerable achievements. I also believe their talent and enthusiasm will stand us in good stead to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future."
