Dame Kiri, who has accepted a post as President of the Academy, worked with the students for a week, mentoring them and helping them to develop their vocal technique.
Seven students were then selected to perform in a public masterclass with Dame Kiri, which was held in the Reardon Smith Theatre in Cardiff.
The event was a sell-out and audience members gained an exclusive insight into the operatic techniques and methods used by the celebrated soprano.
Catrin Aur Davies was one of the students performing: "It was an absolute privilege being picked out to sing in public with Dame Kiri," said Catrin. She is so generous and warm - I‘ve learnt so much from her during her week at the Academy."
