Cardiff staff and students will have the opportunity to question one of the world’s most legendary journalists in an event at the University.
Carl Bernstein, who with Bob Woodward uncovered the Watergate scandal that led to the resignation of American President, Richard Nixon in the 1970s, will be visiting the School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies on Friday May 24th 2013.
He will give a short lecture in the Main Lecture Theatre, Julian Hodge Building after which Professor Richard Sambrook, Director of the Centre for Journalism in the School, will lead a question and answer session.
"This is a unique opportunity to meet and question one of the most famous investigative journalists in the world," said Professor Sambrook. "We strongly encourage all of our students to book a place as well as other staff and students with an interest in this area."
The event is open to University staff and students and will run from 3.00pm – 4.30pm on 24th May. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance here.
