Do you have a view on how the University can encourage more sustainable travel choices? Is there something we can do better or do you have a great idea to share?
As part of our commitment to sustainability, the University is launching a university-wide travel survey. Organised by the Campus Services Division, the survey will give staff and students the opportunity to shape and develop the University's travel arrangements.
Questions will focus on changes in travel choices and behaviour since a previous survey, and identifying ways of encouraging more sustainable travel choices in terms of commuting and business or study related travel.
As well as helping inform travel arrangements, the results will enable the University to report and take action to reduce carbon emissions associated with travel.
The surveys are available here: Student: https://www.surveys.cardiff.ac.uk/studenttravel12 Staff: https://www.surveys.cardiff.ac.uk/stafftravel12 All staff and students who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw. Winners will be selected at random with a Samsung 19" LCD flat screen TV for the winner of the staff survey and an iPod Nano for the winner of the student survey.
