Animal crime fighter extraordinaire, Dr Rhys Jones - a Distinguished Visiting Fellow of the Cardiff University School of Biosciences will be primetime viewing tonight with the BBC One network premiere of his series Rhys Jones’ Wildlife Patrol.
The four part series will see the intrepid Rhys tackle wildlife crime, alien invaders and exotic escapees, using science and crime-fighting expertise to help protect Wales's 5,000 native species.
In episode one, Rhys encounters a scorpion sent through the post and investigates deer poaching. Click here for a taster of the first programme which broadcasts tonight (19 June) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
