Vacancy: Lecturer in Music
Following the award of a Major Research Fellowship to Professor David Wyn Jones by the Leverhulme Trust the School of Music is seeking to appoint a lecturer for a fixed two-year period, to undertake teaching and associated duties.
Candidates should have teaching capability in two or more of the following areas: Analysis and Theory, Composition, Harmony and Counterpoint, and History and Critical Studies. Candidates with an interest in Film Music and/or Jazz are particularly welcome.
The post is fixed term for two years and is ideal for an early-career candidate.
Salary £30424 - £36298 per annum (Grade 6)
