CBE awarded to Cardiff music graduate, Bethan Guilfoyle

Congratulations to Cardiff music graduate Bethan Guilfoyle (née Jones), who has been honoured in the New Year's Honours list with the order of Commander of the British Empire (CBE). The award has been made in recognition of Mrs Guilfoyle's services to education. She is Headteacher of Treorchy Comprehensive School and was educated at the University College of Wales, Cardiff, now Cardiff University, gaining a First Class BMus degree in 1972 and an MA in 1973.
