Postgraduate Studentships for 2010-11

The School is pleased to offer a number of postgraduate studentships each year through the regular funding schemes described below. Studentships are awarded on a competitive basis and are available subject to acceptance onto the relevant taught or research programme. They will not be offered in conjunction with another scholarship or funding opportunity. If you wish to be considered for an award by the School of Music, please note this request on your application form.

For 2010-11, the School of Music is offering

• 5 postgraduate research studentships (PhD)
• a number of postgraduate taught studentships (MA/MMus)
  The closing date for all the applications for the studentships outlined above is 1 June 2010.

PLUS

Under the AHRC Block Grant Partnership, Cardiff University is also offering

• a full AHRC-funded postgraduate research studentship (PhD)
• a full AHRC-funded postgraduate research preparation studentship on one of the four MA programmes in Music
