Postgraduate Study Facilities
Digital audio workstation
On 15 November 2005 the School of Music opened new facilities for its growing numbers of taught and research postgraduates. A suite of five rooms on the top floor of 37 Corbett Road - linked to the staff and administrative offices and the School's two research centres in 33-37 - now provides world-class facilities for Music postgraduates.
There are two computer rooms with individual work-desks with state-of-the-art networked Macs, PCs and laser printers. There are also a listening room with hi-fi, keyboards and additional computers, free photocopying facilities and, most importantly, a comfortable common room and a kitchen. Music postgraduates have 24-hour access to these facilities.

The University has an established Graduate Centre within five minutes' walk of the School of Music (in the same building as the Students' Union in Park Place).
It comprises several dozen PC workstations, reading and meeting rooms, a bar and catering facilities.
Postgraduates have full access to the University's libraries, including the Music Library in the main Music building. The Library welcomes proposals from postgraduates for new acquisitions which relate to their research interests. Inter-Library Loan facilities are normally free of charge.
