Spanish DELE

The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language DELE are official qualifications, which certify the level of competence and proficiency in using the Spanish language.

We are a centre for these exams, which are awarded by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. We run language courses that can help you prepare for these examinations.

Exam fees and timetable

Exam fees apply to both internal and external candidates. Examinations take place in May each year, with registration during March. In 2024, the examinations take place on Saturday 18 May and the registration deadline is 28 March 2024.

Registration

To register for the exam please complete and return the DELE registration form. Please provide a photocopy of photo ID (passport, driving licence etc) with your registration form and payment. Please email us to receive a link to pay safely online.

Upon successful registration you will receive a confirmation of enrolment. Closer to the examination date you will receive a statement of entry confirming the exam date and time.
