Binomial Tables
Calculating Probabilities

Statistical tables have been compiled to make calculating Binomial probabilities easier. Below is part of a table showing tabulated values of F(x; n, p) = P(X ≤ x), where X has a binomial distribution with index n and parameter p. That is, the table displays values of the Binomial Cumulative Distribution.

Binomial Table

Use the options here to practice reading values from the tables. Choose values for n, x and p, and use the tables to find the probability. Then check your answer.

n: x: p:

P(X ≤ x) =
