UCAS open days

Our UCAS open days are a chance for you to get a real first-hand experience of the School, the University and the city.

All applicants who are going to be made an offer for a Mathematics degree at Cardiff University are invited to a departmental open day. On these open days, applicants have the opportunity to meet School of Mathematics staff as well as some current students.

What to expect

There will be presentations providing more information about the various Mathematics degrees we offer, careers, living in Cardiff and accommodation. There will be an opportunity to see the facilities offered within the School of Mathematics and the Students Union. There will also be a parents panel where parents can ask the Admissions Tutor and current students questions about any aspect of university life.

Two girls attending an open day

There is no requirement for applicants to attend an open day. Once you respond to our invitation either by selecting a date to visit or by informing us that you do not plan to visit, then we will process your offer.

Please note that although each open day is suitable for applicants to any Mathematics degree scheme, the open day on 25 November will be particularly appropriate for MMath students.
