The Trevithick Library provides information resources for engineering, computer science and informatics, and physics and astronomy. It is located on the first floor of the Trevithick Building in The Parade off Newport Road.

Opening hours

The computer room (T1.06) is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This includes holiday periods when the library is closed.

The Trevithick Library is located on the first floor of the Trevithick Building in The Parade off Newport Road.

Facilities include:

  • myPrint Pay Station (foyer)
  • IT suites
  • Group study rooms

Access

Between 17:00 and 08:00 weekdays and 24/7 at weekends, entry to Trevithick Building is controlled by swipe-card access. Students and staff from the following Schools can gain entry with their cards:

  • Computer Science & Informatics
  • Engineering
  • Physics & Astronomy

All other card-holders should contact Security for further information.

  • The Trevithick Library is located on the first floor of the Trevithick Building.
  • Disabled parking spaces are available close to the library outside the Trevithick Building.
  • An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor.
  • Staff will retrieve books from the shelves if required, please ask for assistance.
