Visit Cardiff to learn more about our Library Service and share knowledge and best practice.

Every two years we run a week-long programme of events in Cardiff for international librarians. The week involves lectures, tours, networking events and plenty of opportunities to share ideas.

Our first event took place in 2009 and featured four days of seminars and workshops. Over recent years we have expanded our events to include off-site visits to locations such as the Cardiff Central Library and the St. Fagans National History Museum. The talks have also included presentations from participants, drawing on their own experiences and areas of expertise.

The programme is constantly being updated to reflect changing priorities and developments within the sector. View the programme for 2018 to explore the sessions you can expect at our next event. It may also be of use when applying to your institutions for funding to attend our Erasmus week.
