I’m unsure of my level, is there a test that I could do?
Yes, you can complete an online level finder on our website, www.learnwelsh.co.uk or you can contact us to request a copy by post. The online test will give you an instant answer and a test by post will be marked by a tutor. Please don’t let this scare you though; the only aim is to help you to get a better idea of your level.
There are different courses to choose from on every level – how do I choose the best one for me?
The first question to ask yourself is how many hours you can commit to learning every week. The more you can commit, the better, because you will get fluent in a much shorter period of time. On all levels you have an option to study once a week and another option which is twice a week or more. Please see the full details on the ‘Courses’ page.
When do you offer the Taster Courses?
The Taster Courses runs many times throughout the year, in different locations around Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. It usually runs just before an Wlpan course starts.
Is it possible to learn Intermediate, Advanced levels etc on a faster pace as well?
Yes, twice or more a week courses are available on all levels. As with Wlpan, the more time you can committ to learning every week, the faster you will learn.
