Practice and Guidance
This section provides a collection of interesting practices, strategies and techniques relating to diverse aspects of learning and teaching at Cardiff University. Each entry, whether short snippet or extended case study, has its roots in current activity and has been recommended by the Cardiff community and its external partners.
The collection is offered as a stimulus to thought, a view into how Cardiff colleagues have addressed certain issues, and a conduit for the sharing of ideas. In this way, the practices described are not intended to reflect an 'institutionally endorsed' approach - many will be dependent on particular contexts - but a starting point for reflection: home Schools, contacts and original source material are given where available to enable follow up enquiries should you wish to delve deeper.
Guidance Notes
The University has also developed a series of Guidance Notes covering a number of key issues in learning and teaching:

Information Literacy Learning Outcomes
Improving Literacy Group Work Projects and Dissertations
The Accreditation of Prior and Experiential Learning
