Susan Morgan studied English at the University of Sussex. After completing a PGCE she taught English, Drama and Media Studies in schools in East Sussex before moving to Cardiff in 1990 to raise a family.She now endeavours to combine writing with work in adult education. She has had short film scripts produced by Cyfle and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Her short stories have appeared in several anthologies published by Honno, most recently Safe World Gone (2007). In the same year, You Dig appeared in Blue Tattoo. Her poetry has most recently been published in Anterliwt, New Writing from Cardiff University (2009) and In the Telling, published by Cinnamon Press (2009).She is currently working on a novel, for which she was awarded a Welsh Arts Council bursary and enabling grant. Susan joined Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning in 2004 to teach Creative Writing at the Museum.
She is interested in experimental object-based teaching and popular science, as well as writing about the city.
