Introductory Course in Data Management
SAS® is an extremely powerful data management and analysis tool, and knowledge of the system enables one to effortlessly manage and analyse data. SAS® contains a host of powerful statistical packages to enable delegates to perform a wide variety statistical analysis, to produce high quality professional reports. This course is accredited through Cardiff University, and also provides a basis for more advanced courses.
Regression Techniques
Delegates will become familiar with a powerful statistical technique, that is likely to enhance their statistical thinking and appreciation. An appropriate understanding of regression ensures that participants correctly use, and interpret the technique. Participants will be reminded throughout to consider: the purpose of the analysis; the types of variables under investigation; the statistical assumptions of the variables; and the manner in which the data are collected.
SAS® Data Step, Macro Programming and SQL
Delegates will learn techniques that will allow the efficient manipulation and analysis of complex data. Techniques on the efficient manipulation of complex data will be taught via the subjects of advanced data step programming and Structured Query Language (SQL). The efficient analysis of data will be taught through the subject of SAS® macro. This course is accredited through Cardiff University.
