Rachel Cohen
Rachel has recently submitted her PhD thesis, is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and currently works as a lecturer and seminar tutor at Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies.
With an MA (Distinction) in Forensic Linguistics, Rachel’s expertise in the fields of language and communication has involved several years teaching a variety of academic modules, and working on funded research projects alongside senior staff.
Having also previously spent 15 years working in the public sector Rachel has many years’ experience of designing and producing effective written documents for a wide range of business-related purposes, tailoring these specifically to the demands of their intended readers. She is a successful and well-respected teacher, who inspires confidence amongst her students, enabling them to develop their writing skills in a thoroughly professional (and yet friendly!) environment
