Managers who have recently been given responsibility for preparing or managing budgets, or have to be able to understand financial statements prepared by others, as well as those who need to gain a better understanding of the financial implications of their decisions. The course is general enough to be of benefit to people in business, and the voluntary and charity sector.
To remove the mystery from business finance, enabling participants to understand and interpret key accounting concepts and financial management tools.
Participants will be taught how to understand and interpret financial statements; to look at break-even points; profitability; cash-flow; and to practically apply key accounting concepts. By attending this course, managers will develop a better understanding of their organisations financial issues, and how their decisions contribute to their organisations financial performance.
