European Day of Languages
This year, the European Day falls on a Sunday and will be a very special day for all our visitors.
Cilt Cymru, in partnership with ‘Routes into Languages’ and the Wales Millennium Centre, has organised a family fun day to celebrate this year’s European Day.
As a well established provider of part-time modern foreign languages, the Centre for Lifelong Learning supports this event and, along with other partners (the European Commission and the Confucius Institute) will have a stand at the Millennium Centre and will provide free taster sessions.
As well as musical and theatrical performances on the Glanfa stage, there will be activities suitable for the whole family. Language tasters, music workshops and games from around the world are just a few of the things that will be on offer to you. There will even be opportunities to have a back stage tour in another language! All of these activities will be teamed with stalls so that you can find out more about language learning opportunities in Wales.
This promises to be a fantastic way to spend your Sunday!
