What is the Membership Club?

For the second year the Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning is running a Membership Club formerly know as the Membership Scheme. The aim of the Membership Club is to support the development of a stronger learning community of staff, tutors and students.

The Membership Club is open to returning students who completed a course in 2008-2009 and wish to enrol again this academic year 2009-2010.

Why should you join the Membership Club?

By joining the FREE Membership club you will become part of a learning community and be eligible for advantages that are geared specifically to the needs of your learning and time spent at the Centre.

Membership is free and all student members will be eligible for special advantages including regular information bulletins, new social events and a variety of discounts for certain courses.

Advantages

  • Discounts on courses

There are three ways in which you as Members can obtain exclusive discounts on future courses at the Centre.

  • Discounts on Accredited Courses
    As a Member you will receive a voucher for 10% that can be used against the enrolment fee on any 2010-2011 accredited course. These vouchers will be sent to you on full completion (including assessment) of any accredited course from the Autumn 2009 or Spring/Summer 2010 Choices prospectuses. The more accredited courses you complete, the more vouchers you will receive.

  • Recommend a Friend
    Recommend a friend to the Centre and both you AND your friend will be eligible for a 10% reduction in course fees. This offer extends to any friend who has not studied at the Centre over the previous three years. On completion of an enrolment form for any accredited course, your friend will be entitled to a 10% reduction off the full fee for the course AND you will be sent a 10% discount voucher that can be used against your next course enrolment.

  • Bonus Course Discounts
    From time to time we will send you further information of reductions on selected courses which could be as much as 30% of the fees.

  • Learn, The Membership Club Magazine, a termly magazine to keep you up-to-date with news from the Centre and other Members.

  • Invites to exclusive Membership Club events as well as the Centre’s annual events.

  • Corporate discounts that are updated and changed regularly.

How to join

There are two simple ways to join the Membership Club:

  1. The easiest way to join is on your enrolment form where you simply tick ‘YES’ in the Membership Box (this can be found highlighted just under the signature box on page 4). Once your details have been checked to see if you are eligible you will be sent a welcome pack containing your Membership details.

  1. You can complete our online registration form by clicking here. The dates need to be changed on this form to Courses Studied in 2008-00 and I confirm that I studied at the Centre in 2008-09.

Once your enrolment form has been processed your registration will be accepted and you will receive your membership details.
