David Tolley

David Tolley has two language degrees including a First Class Spanish degree from the University of London, an MBA and an MA. He also has the Spanish Government’s Diploma Superior, the OCR’s Advanced Business Spanish Certificate and the Final Diploma and Interpreting Skills Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

David also holds the professional translation qualification of that Institute (DIPIOL) and has taught this postgraduate course at Cardiff University for some years. He is the Institute’s Exam consultant for Wales. He has taught beginners in Further Education classes and runs after-school Spanish clubs in primary schools; undertakes private tuition and works as an examiner, a correspondence tutor and a freelance translator.

He also has management experience and lectures on leadership and management at university level. In his spare time David enjoys getting out and about with his family. He is committed to environmental issues, enjoys theatre, reading and is a keen football supporter.
