How it Works
The Inside Narratives pathway is made up of six 10-credit courses. It is equivalent to 50% of the first year of a degree, and is intended to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to study a degree in English Language, Literature and/or Philosophy at Cardiff University.
If you wish to be eligible to start a degree in September 2014, you will need to take all five of the modules listed in this brochure (the three from Group 1 and two from Group 2), as well as one other module from the Choices prospectus.
Here’s what some of our students are saying about the course
“Philosophy offered me a chance to think about things in a completely new way and gave a different perspective to everyday life.” Kieran McCann – Philosophy Student
“I enrolled, purely out of interest, in an English course at the University’s Centre for Lifelong Learning. To my amazement, my tutor suggested I apply to the University to do a degree. My initial reaction was: ‘At my age? I’ve got six grandchildren, for goodness’ sake! I’ll feel ridiculous, with fellow students the age of my eldest granddaughter.’ But I applied, and was accepted as a part-time student.” Barbara Michaels – English Student
