Russian Courses

• Russian for Beginners I

  This course is aimed at absolute beginners and will introduce students to the Russian language and culture. Students will learn to read the Russian alphabet and practise basic conversation and language structures.

• Russian for Beginners II

  This course is aimed at students who have attended Russian for Beginners I, or have some very basic knowledge of Russian. It is not appropriate for absolute beginners of the language. Students will further improve their language skills.

• Russian for Improvers I

  This course is aimed at students who have studied Russian for one year part-time, who wish to further improve their language skills and at the same time get an insight into Russian life and culture.

• Intermediate Russian

  This course is aimed at students who have studied Russian for two years part-time, who wish to further progress their active and passive language skills and at the same time learn more about cultural issues of Russia.

• Higher Intermediate Russian

  This course is aimed at students who have studied Russian for three years part-time who wish to further improve their spoken, listening and written language skills.

• Russian for Improvers II

  This course is aimed at students who have attended Russian for Improvers I or have some knowledge of Russian. Students will further improve their language skills.
