DPSI – Examinations
This information was received from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (please confirm all details directly with the Chartered Institute of Linguists).
Both internal and external candidates can sit the DPSI at Cardiff as long as Chartered Institute of Linguists trained Assessors are available (depending on the language, it may be that some candidates have to be examined in London for the oral part only, depending upon the availability of a team of Assessors). The written units can always be taken in Cardiff.
The next exam will take place in June 2013 and the Centre fee will be £48 per unit title (3 in total). (Please note that the Centre fee is in addition to the examination fee required by the Chartered Institute of Linguists). Enrolment for the examinations must be done via the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
The deadline is the 31st of January 2013.

- Contact Siân Austin to confirm details before applying to the Institute
- Register with the Institute by the end of 31 January 2013
- Pay the Centre fee by 31 January 2013
The Centre runs a number of courses preparing for the DPSI to help students prepare for the examinations.
Registration
Registration for examinations with the Chartered Institute of Linguists takes place between 1 November and 31 January each year. The examinations are held in June.
