Languages
Our Summer Language Courses are now online! – New
Our Centre is unique because of the wide choice of different foreign languages on offer. Amongst them, Croatian (Serbian and Bosnian), Greek, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish at various levels. Swedish for Beginners is our latest addition (for fans of Scandinavian series? Why not!). French, German, Italian and Spanish are available in eight different levels of entry to suit everybody’s ability.
This year, we have tried to respond to what our daytime students have asked for. Beginners, improvers and intermediate levels are now taught in two sections: 20 weeks to develop all aspects of the language followed by ten weeks courses, in the spring, to re-enforce learning, particularly speaking and listening.
In parallel to this, if for personal or professional reasons, you need to quickly improve your French or Spanish – and we know this is the case for a large number of our students – then please look at our Fast Track courses. They will give you a chance to do two levels in the same year. But if you prefer to take your time, you will enjoy the pace of a weekly class.
Attending our courses means you will be meeting like-minded people and sharing your experience with them; this is an important component of language learning. Add to this the fact that our courses are taught in a friendly atmosphere… and you have the right recipe for a pleasurable experience through which both your skills and your confidence in the foreign language will grow.
