This course provides a good introduction to the skills needed for successful project management.

This is an area of study and application which is increasingly popular and is useful in all aspects of employment and life management. This course is extremely popular and we would advise that you pre-enrol.

This course is open to everyone with an interest in the topic, no prior knowledge is required.

Learning and teaching

The course will be taught through a mix of tutor-led seminars and small group work.

The course syllabus covers:

  • background to project management
  • researching the plan
  • using different methodologies
  • exploring contemporary technology
  • devising a project management plan
  • implementation of the project management plan.

Coursework and assessment

To award credits we need to have evidence of the knowledge and skills you have gained or improved. Our assessments are flexible to suit the course and the student but provide the student will an enhanced learning experience through working at an undergraduate academic level.

You will be asked to complete reflective work sheets across the 10 weeks of the course and to write a project management plan.
