The Diary of Sara D
Sports Fair. Wow! I just walked into the Great Hall at the university and I’ve never seen so many different sports club in my life! There’s tennis (tenis), sailing (balandrismo), cycling (ciclismo), rugby (rugby) and even fencing (esgrima)! How do I decide what to do? There don’t seem to be enough days in the week.
3…2…1…Let’s go! Ok. Here I go. Tonight’s the tennis club’s initiation party. I don’t really know what that means, but I’ll soon find out. All I know is that I have to go in fancy dress (disfrazada). I’m going to go dressed as un gato negro (black cat) — but haven’t found any ears yet!
What a great night! ¡Me lo pase bomba! (I had a great time!) I met so many nice people. I went to the Student’s Union with the tennis club and danced the night away. Some of the costumes were great. My friend Charlotte went dressed as a rugby player and Jess was dressed as a block of cheese!!! Hahaha! Tennis again tomorrow, I can’t wait!
Tennis practice. I played tennis for three hours this afternoon. It was really fun. We even played indoors — I’ve never had the chance to do that before! I think I’m really going to like being part of the tennis club. I might even try out for the teams! That would be fun!
Cycling today! That’s if my legs can stand it after all that tennis! Must rush, or I’ll be late!
