To produce a Welsh-language version presenter Huw Edwards’s Welsh Pieces to Camera were green screened into specially edited sequences with new voiceovers.

Phase 2 will produce 13 new mini-documentaries, presented by Huw Edwards.

From the Iron Age to the latest stage of Devolution in the shape of November’s Wales (Official Languages) Act, more scenes of Welsh history will be filmed using reconstructions, CGI and archive sources.

Cardiff University historian, Dr. Lloyd Bowen is the project’s Historical Consultant.

This will be the launch project for Welsh Government’s ambitious new Virtual Learning Environment - the Hwb. The platform will eventually support up to one million users and will host a national collection of digital resources to support teaching and learning.
