School hosts the AGM for the Association of Journalism Education (AJE)

On Tuesday 11th September the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies hosted the AGM of the Association of Journalism Education.
The AGM took place at the Glamorgam building at Cardiff University
The AJE is the professional body which promotes journalism education and represents journalism educators working in the 44 member Schools of journalism based in Universities throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
As well as conducting the business of the AGM, the Conference included seminar discussions of journalism research and the Declaration of Universal Journalism Education Principles arising from the recent World Congress of Journalism Education held in Singapore.
The AJE meeting also included analysis of the National Council for Training in Journalism (NCTJ) law syllabus headed by David Banks and Mark Hanna who is the new Chair of thee NCTJ Law board.
