Graduates celebrate outside Bute Building
On Thursday 15th of July students from Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies (JOMEC) will graduate at St David's Hall, Cardiff.
The ceremony for Undergraduates, MA and Diploma Postgraduates and graduates of the PhD/MPhil programme will take place in the grand setting of St David's Hall at 1:30PM.
JOMEC‘s graduation ceremony will take place between two other Cardiff University Schools during the 1:30PM to 4:30PM afternoon slot. Firstly the School of History and Archaeology and finally the School of Religious and Theological Studies.
The ceremony will last for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Graduates are advised to arrive at St David's Hall one hour before the start of their ceremony.
Strawberries and Cream Reception
The School's graduates and guests are invited to a strawberries and cream reception between 11.00AM – 12.00PM on the 15th July to be held in the Bute Building Refectory ahead of the main ceremony. Graduates wishing to attend the reception are asked to let Cerys Parker (ParkerCB1@cardiff.ac.uk) know of your intentions.
For those of you planning a celebratory lunch with friends and family, please ensure to book your restaurant of choice early to avoid disappointment.
