Emma Meese started her career as a print journalist before moving to work in radio and television at the BBC. Following a stint as a radio reporter and producer Emma became a respected television producer and director across a number of award winning current affairs, business and factual programmes.
An established investigative journalist, who filmed undercover on numerous occasions, Emma turned her attention to digital journalism. Before joining Cardiff University Emma was in charge of all BBC Wales social media accounts as Social Media Producer for BBC Wales.
She specialises in online video, and has her own award-winning video production company. Emma also works with the BBC College of Journalism and BBC Academy, delivering social media training and strategy advice for news and programme teams.
