Salary: £45,486 - £52,706 per annum (Grade 8).

To assist the Director of Libraries in leading the University Library Service (ULS) to become a world class "partner" in co-inventing and co-delivering achievement of the University’s ambitions, particularly in respect of a high quality learning environment and research resources.

To achieve this objective, the Associate Director of Libraries for Collection Development & Special Collections will inspire the provision, delivery and development of a rich collection of information resources, both physical and digital, which are geared to the University’s teaching and research needs, and which deliver exceptional value for money.

This is a leadership role which will require vision and a keen awareness of the external environment influencing the library service. You will deal with high-level stakeholders in the University and externally and play a role in UK-wide library initiatives.

You will contribute to the ULS Senior Management Team, helping to set and achieve University Library Service objectives in accordance with the INSRV Strategy and Action plan.
