Cardiff University is looking for an exceptional IT leader to develop its IT Service & Operations Group to become a provider of world-leading IT services.
Operating as part of the Board for Information Services and a member of the senior IT leadership team you will develop and manage a team of approximately 60 staff responsible for the University’s centralised IT service desk, incident and problem management, change, configuration and release management, service delivery and Data Centre Operations. Your challenge will be to ensure truly exceptional customer service is maintained whilst continuously improving the University’s IT service model; focusing on cost, structure, process and procedure, introducing appropriate high quality professional methodologies, standards and mind-set.
