Information Services is rolling out new, multifunctional printing and copying devices (MFDs) as part of the myPrint service. These will replace most of the existing printers and photocopiers in library sites.

This service provides a secure, flexible and convenient printing and copying system which is available across all the library campuses in Cathays and Heath Park, and is also available via a wireless service.

Duplex Printing will be set as the default across the devices, reducing the usage of paper, costs and power consumption for the user.

Roll out will be as follows to the library sites;

Phase 1 (commencing 14th August):
Health Library, Brian Cooke Dental Library, Trevithick Library, Science and Biomed Libraries.

Phase 2 (commencing 21st August):
Arts and Social Studies Library, Law Library, Aberconway and Guest Libraries, Julian Hodge Study Centre, Music library.

Phase 3 (commencing 28th August):
Senghennydd Library, Legal Practice Library, Bute Library, Architecture Library, Graduate Centre.
