Confused by 'classmarks'? Puzzled by 'periodicals'?  Our new library glossary is here to help.

The online glossary of library terminology is available on the Information Services website. This new resource will serve as a way to explain some of the library terminology our customers hear every day.

You can also now view our 'Library Jargon Explained' video to learn more about some of the basic library vocabulary you may encounter on a regular basis.

Need more help? Visit any of the University libraries for more information, or you can chat to one of our librarians using the 'Ask a Librarian Live' online messaging service.
