Lexicon Iconographicum mythologiae Classicae (classical era)
The Lexicon Iconographicum Mythologiae Classicae is a multivolume encyclopedia, cataloguing representations of mythology in the arts of classical antiquity; it is the most extensive resource of its kind. Entries are arranged alphabetically, with black-and-while illustrations indexed to their respective entries. The work was prepared by international scholars from nearly 40 countries who contributed in their own language of choice, with entries written in English, German, French, or Italian.
