Inscriptiones Graecae (c. 600 BC?-c. 500 AD?)
The standard corpus of Greek inscriptions - its aim is to collect and publish all known ancient inscriptions from the mainland and islands of Greece (and as a parallel to the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum). So far, 49 fascicles have been published, some of them in several editions. See also, Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum.
All editorial texts are published in Latin. Up to now, the inscriptions were published without translation, but more recently, German translations for all new volumes are available on the Inscriptiones Graecae website, and some recent volumes have English translations online – see Attic Inscriptions Online (AIO), which is a website designed to make available some of the inscriptions of ancient Athens and Attica in English translation.
