My main responsibilities are to:

  • develop and deliver legal research skills training to staff and students of Cardiff Law School
  • liaise with teaching and research staff so that the Law Library best serves the needs of the Law School
  • select and authorise the purchase of paper-based materials to support teaching and research
  • provide, in conjunction with Law Library colleagues, an enquiry answering service to both staff and students
  • maintain and update the free to use, web-based Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations and deal with enquiries and comments on the Index sent in from across the world
  • raise the profile of Cardiff Law Library externally through consultancy work.
