There are networked self-service photocopiers in all libraries and the Julian Hodge Study Centre. Please note that there is a charge for photocopying - see the schedule of charges for more information. Photocopying is also available at Graphic Services locations.
A4 and A5 Booklets can be produced in colour or black and white.
This service is available at the Graphic Services unit in the Bute Building.
Colour printing is available at all Graphic Services locations.
Please book in advance. A member of staff will be on hand to advise on the use of facilities.
The scanning of printed material by an individual for the purpose of research or private study may be regarded as fair dealing, but not if the material is placed on a website. For further advice, please contact the Copyright Unit.

Stationery, CDs, memory sticks and stamps can be purchased from all Graphic Services locations.
Laminating is available at all Graphic Services locations and some library sites. Large format laminating up to A0 size is available at Graphic Services in the Bute Building.
'Soft' binding, with prices starting from £2 is available as follows:
- A4 comb, thermal, velo and wire binding is available in Graphic Services in the Arts and Social Studies Library.
- A4 comb binding is available in: the Aberconway Library, Julian Hodge Study Centre, and Trevithick Library.
- A4 comb and thermal binding is available in: Archie Cochrane Library, Brian Cook Dental Library, and the Health Library.
Optical Mark Reader service (OMR)
The Optical Mark Reader service offers marking of multiple-choice exams and processing of course evaluations to academic departments.
Each department that uses the service pays an annual subscription of £160, plus charges per exam/course evaluation. For a full breakdown see the Schedule of Charges (page 12) as indicated above.

The University Library Service Print Service orders print for Cardiff University, including supplying stationery (e.g. letter-headed paper, compliment slips and business cards) and arranging other types of printed material.
