Up to size A0 colour and black and white photocopying, printing and scanning services are available at Graphic Services in the Bute Building.
Self-service colour printing is available at all Graphic Services locations.
Graphic images can be converted into digital files in a variety of formats.
Self-service scanning facilities are available in all Graphic Services locations. Please book in advance. A member of staff will be on hand to advise on the use of facilities.
Staff operated scanning up to size A0 is available in Graphic Services, Bute Building.
The scanning of printed material by an individual for the purpose of research or private study may be regarded as fair dealing, but not if the material is placed on a web site. For further advice, please contact the Copyright Unit.

Stationery, computer supplies and stamps can be purchased from all Graphic Services locations.
Laminating is available at all Graphic Services locations.
Large format laminating up to A0 size is available at the Julian Hodge Study Centre.
'Soft' binding and laminating facilities are provided by the University Library Service and other local companies.

Optical Mark Reader Service (OMR)
The INSRV Optical Mark Reader Service is operated by Clare Johnston, a member of the Graphic Services Team based in the Arts & Social Studies Library.
The service offers marking of multiple-choice exams and processing of course evaluations to academic departments.
Each department that uses the service pays an annual subscription of £160, plus charges per exam/course evaluation. For a full breakdown see the Information Services Schedule of Charges (page 12) as indicated above.

The Media Resources Centre Print Unit (MRCPU) is a small-scale off-set litho print shop with a range of finishing equipment for folding and booklet making. It is ideally suited to long-run print work (1000+ copies) of one or two colours.
The MRCPU also orders print for Cardiff University, including supplying stationery (e.g. letter-headed paper, compliment slips and business cards) and arranging other types of printed material.
