Advanced Research Computing @ Cardiff (ARCCA)
The Advanced Research Computing @ Cardiff (ARCCA) service for high performance research computing is delivering the latest technologies and solutions to enable research of international distinction. ARCCA provides access to institutional High Performance Computing (HPC) resources, delivering economic benefits and a wider enabling impact than previous individual provision by Schools or research groups.
Support is available for groundbreaking and complex applications, although for many research applications HPC will be a self-service facility not requiring specialist knowledge, thus making it efficient to support and use.
ARCCA operates as an independent organisation closely linked with Information Services to minimise overheads and to ensure good synergy with other key research-enabling projects within the University IT Programme. However, ARCCA is wholly dedicated to the University's research agenda and operates fully under the strategic oversight of the Research Committee.
Find out what ARCCA can offer for you and your research on the ARCCA website.
