The ESDS provides an online catalogue of over 5000 data collections which include both quantitative and qualitative economic and social data aimed at supporting teaching and research. To download and view the contents of the datasets you will need to log in and register - click on Login via UK Federation, search for Cardiff University and then enter your Cardiff University computer username and password. Follow the link to register.

From the National Statistics Online web site. Summary and detailed data for local areas by theme or area down to ward level. Includes access to data from the 2001 census as it is released as well as from other non-census sources.
Datasets can be selected and compared. These can be viewed in report (tabular) format and can be saved and printed.
