Full text electronic journals are available to all students and staff of Cardiff University.
Many electronic journals can be accessed from home or other off-campus locations using your Cardiff University network username and password.
To access the full text of electronic journals over the internet:
- Select journals from the A to Z list below or
- Use the Voyager library catalogue to search for both electronic and printed journals, or
- Browse or search the electronic journals collection using the Cardiff University eLibrary.

Ingenta
Ingenta is a database of current article information taken from 26,000 multidisciplinary journals. Some functions are only available to subscribers, but it is free to search the database by keyword, or to search for the contents pages of an individual journal.
NESLI - National Electronic Site Licensing Initiative
The national electronic journal service for the UK higher education and research community. Cardiff University staff and students can search or browse the journal titles to which the University has an electronic subscription. Athens / CU Login authentication is required to access this service.
Taylor and Francis includes Carfax Publishing and Routlege
Impact Factors
Journal Citation Reports on the Web provides easy access to data that helps you evaluate and compare scholarly journals. This includes Impact Factors and most frequently used titles. A Cardiff University computer username and password is required to access this service off campus.
To access the Reports, login to Web of Knowledge and click on the ISI Journal Citation Reports option from the home page.
