includes over 300,000 works of English and American drama, poetry and prose, from Beowulf to the late 20th century.
Early English Books Online (EEBO)
A collection of full text images of over 100, 000 book published between 1473 and 1700, of which over 11,500 are fully searchable.
JISC Historic Books (JHB)
Contains over 300,000 historical books published in English or in England before 1800 and 65,000 19th century books from the following historically significant collections:
- Early English Books Online (EEBO)
- Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)
- 19th Century books from the British Library collection (never available before online)
