Electronic literary texts

Literature Online (LION)
includes over 300,000 works of English and American drama, poetry and prose, from Beowulf to the late 20th century.

Early English Books Online (EEBO)
A collection of full text images of over 100, 000 book published between 1473 and 1700, of which over 11,500 are fully searchable.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)
A library of over 130,000 fully searchable texts, published between 1701 and 1800. This includes every significant text printed in the United Kingdom, both in English and in other languages, as well as thousands of works from the Americas. Coverage includes not only books, but broadsides, tracts, sermons and ephemera.

The Corvey Collection

The Archive contains electronic versions of literary works by authors in English, Greek, Latin and a dozen other languages, including unpublished materials. It has over 2,000 titles.

Over 3500 out-of-copyright books available to download free onto e-reader devices or to view on your computer screen.
