Information Services' sustainability objectives
Information Services works with partners across the University towards achieving overarching objectives, and will:
- Actively work to minimise the environmental impact of all of the University's IT, Library and Media Resources Centre activities;
- Work with Schools and administrative divisions to share ideas and best practice in the application of green IT;
- Seek to maximise the positive sustainability impact of the University's use of IT and information resources;
- Continue to develop its outreach and corporate social responsibility activities, for example the donation of replaced library books to countries where they can continue to be used.
