More Sustainable Information Services
In support of the University's sustainability policies, Information Services (INSRV) strives to promote and support sustainable development. In particular, INSRV works with partners across the University towards achieving overarching objectives, and will:
- Actively work to minimise the environmental impact of all of the University's IT, Library and Media Resources Centre activities;
- Work with schools and administrative divisions to share ideas and best practice in the application of green IT;
- Seek to maximise the positive sustainability impact of the University's use of IT and information resources;
- Continue to develop its outreach and corporate social responsibility activities, for example the donation of replaced library books to countries where they can continue to be used.
