Our Organisation and Environment
INSRV operates within a complex organisational context. Everything we succeed in doing is achieved in collaboration with others.
We provide services, support and facilities to all Schools and Directorates, potentially every single person in the University, and to the local community and beyond.
Following the retirement of the Director of Information Services in December 2011, the Directorate will operate with an interim management structure in place. The four Divisions (University Library Service, University IT Services, Media Resources, and ARCCA) will continue to operate as usual, and each Divisional Director will report to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. The Support Services teams will continue to undertake their responsibilities and work for all of Information Services and ARCCA, with management responsibility for the teams shared between the Director of University IT and the Director of University Libraries.
