Stationery (letterhead, compliment slips, business cards)
Stationery is a very extensive and important means by which the University’s visual identity is presented. Detailed consideration has been given to its design as part of the University’s identity system.
It is a requirement that all University stationery complies with the visual identity system and is ordered through the University’s Media Services Office. This ensures all University stationery is of a consistent style and quality. For security purposes, the identity system includes uniquely watermarked University paper stock, which is commissioned and purchased by the tonne by the Media Resources office. The office is able to provide advice and assistance on all aspects of stationery. For more information, please see below.
The approved letterhead design provides a structure in which the position , size and style of various aspects of the letterhead are determined, typically as illustrated. Within this structure there is a degree of flexibility regarding the application of sub-identity logos which have been approved by the University and regarding aspects of what information is presented. The positioning of approved sub-identities on stationary is considered as part of the sub-identity approval process.
